Tapsee confirms 'Muni 3'

After Vedhika and Lakshmi Rai, Tapsee Pannu is the latest addition to the 'Muni' bandwagon of heroines. The 'Aadukalam' heroine will play the female lead in the third installment of 'Muni', titled 'Ganga'.
The film will be made simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu and Lawrence Raghavednra, who will play the lead role, besides wielding the megaphone, is giving finishing touches to the script.
"Though I have not formally signed on the dotted line, I can say I am going to be part of Ganga. It is an interesting subject," says Tapsee.
Meanwhile, works are on in full swing with regards to the release of the 3D version of 'Kanchana', which is the second part of 'Muni'.

Samantha opposite Dhanush?

First it was Amala Paul who was considered for the role. Then the plum offer appeared to have landed on the lap of Hansika Motwani. But now it seems samantha is emerging the front-runner.
We are talking about the heroine of 'Sottavalakutty', the next film of Sargunam, which has Dhanush in the lead role. "Since the movie is getting delayed, Hansika was not able to allot the required dates," sources said.
They added: "Following this, samantha was approached for the role. She was very much impressed after listening to the script and gave her nod."
'Sottavalakutty' has Dhanush playing a rural youth and the heroine is a dentist. How she falls for the charm of the smart young man is the crux of the story.

NEP Promotions feature scenes from the movie!

Neethaane En Ponvasantham has been confirmed to release on the 14th of December. Even amidst the film's popularity and songs ranking well in chartbusters, the makers are keen on promoting the film even more and will be releasing some of the scenes from the movie ahead of the release. This goes against the normal norm when sequences actually appear on TV channels and the internet after launch day.
The crew, including director Gautham Menon, are hoping the film will relate to real-life incidences for the audience. "There are so many moments in their life that people will relate to, which will not feature in the film. We want people to watch these moments, get to know Varun and Nithya better before coming to watch their story on screen", says the Director.
Neethaane En Ponvasantham features jiva, samantha doing lead roles in Tamil with Nani replacing the male lead in the Telugu version. The pair will be seen portraying their characters in school, college and as adults in their life. We just cant wait for this one!

Actor Ajith, who is currently working on Vishnuvardhan's project has also put pen to deal for another film with Director Shiva, who earlier came up with Siruthai. Though the project has been confirmed, the heroine of the film was still an unanswered question, but now, actress tammna has been confirmed to do the role.
Director Shiva, who is fondly called Siruthai Shiva by many spoke to us about the project and revealed several interesting information about his plans. Apart form tammana, Santhanam will be playing the role of the comedian and will be supported by the likes of Jayaram, JP and Illavarasu. He also confirmed that Devi Sri Prasad will be scoring the music. Here's the entire transcript from our conversation with the director.
"Now that the heroine is finalized, the producers Mrs.Bharathi Reddy and Mr.Venkataram reddy had gone various steps ahead in promoting this film as a massive family entertainer true to the image of the company which had produced many block busters.
Young hero's like Vidaarth, Baala, Munish, Sohail play the characters of their life sharing the screen space with ajith. Jayaram Sir and Santhanam will tickle your funny bones in their awesome combination, with JP and Ilavarasu playing the support roles the project promises plenty of emotions too...each time I see Ajith Sir in regard to the script, his image on my mind grows rapidly and I am sure my script will definitely enthrall Ajith sirs fans.
Am ably supported by my team - Cameraman Vetri and Art Director Prabhakar, needless to say I am thrilled working with DSP (Devisri Prasad). I would consider myself very lucky to mantle the role of the director for this project produced by Vijaya Productions on the centenary year of Sri Nagi Reddy. Though the shooting will commence only from March the song recording and other pre production processes will happen from 2nd December the concluding day of the centenary year".
