Samar Cast: Vishal, Trisha Direction: Thiru Vishal and Trisha will be seen in Samar for the first time ever. Directed by Thiru, the film is touted as a rollicking action entertainer. Boologam Cast: Jayam Ravi, Trisha Direction: N Kalyanakrishnan Directed by N Kalyanakrishnan, former assistant of SP Jananathan, who won the National Award for his Iyarkkai, Boologam will have Jayam Ravi and Trisha in the lead roles. This is their second outing after Something Something Unakkum Enakkum. Ravi plays a boxer in the film and he has gotten into great shape for this role. Yaan Cast: Jiiva Direction: Ravi K Chandran Yaan marks the debut of ace cinematographer, Ravi K Chandran as a director. Jiiva is the protagonist in this tri-lingual which will be released in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu. The film is creating a lot of buzz and word is that some top Bollywood stars will also be cast. Kumki Cast: Vikram Prabhu, Lakshmi Menon Direction: Prabhu Solomon Kumki promises to be something special as it is the debut film of Vikram Prabhu, grandson of the legendary Sivaji Ganesan and son of Prabhu. Directed by Prabhu Solomon, whose last film, Mynaa made a huge impact, the story revolves around a mahout. Lakshmi Menon is the heroine. Endrendrum Punnagai Cast: Jiiva, Trisha Direction: Ahmed Jiiva and Trisha will be pairing up for the first time in Ahmed’s Endrendrum Punnagai. The makers have promised a lovely and frothy romance. Ongaram Cast: Nayanthara, Rana Daggubati Direction: Krish Ongaram starring Nayanthara and Rana Daggubati will be an action-packed adventure. Krish who made Vaanam is directing this film about a documentary filmmaker (Nayan) and a theatre artiste (Rana). It will be released in Tamil and Telugu. Milind Gunaji, a Bollywood star will be playing the villain. Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom Cast: Vijay Sethupathi, Gayathri Direction: Balaji Tharaneetharan NKPK, directed by Balaji Tharaneetharan will have a fresh cast with Vijay Sethupathi and Gayathri among others. Music is by Ved Shankar, AR Rahman’s protégé trained at ARR’s KM Music Conservatory. Gautham Menon is the producer. Jai is the hero in this film. Thillu Mullu Cast: Shiva Direction: Badri With films like Saroja, Tamizh Padam and Kalakallappu, Shiva has proved that he has the ability to make people laugh. Now he will be seen in the remake of Rajini’s immortal comic caper, Thillu Mullu. Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga Cast: Vimal, Sivakarthikeyan, Regina Direction: Pandiraj Vimal and Sivakarthikeyan were both introduced on the big screen by Pandiraj whose Pasanga won the National Award. Now the trio will be working together in Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga which is sure to be a laugh riot. Rendavathu Padam Cast: Vimal, Aravind Akash, Vijayalakshmi Direction: CS Amuthan CS Amuthan created a big splash with his first film which was called Tamizh Padam. Now he is all set to impress again with his Rendavathu Padam featuring Vimal, Aravind Akash, Vijayalakshmi and Richard. 555 Cast: Bharath, Chandni, Santhanam Direction: Sasi 555 is an action film directed by Sasi of Poo fame. Bharath is the hero of this film and he has given many interviews saying that the film will be a milestone in his career. Chandni and Santhanam will also be part of the cast. It is about a young boy and girl’s search for their missing mother. Neer Paravai Cast: Vishnu, Sunaina, Thambi Ramaiah Direction: Seenu Ramasamy Directed by Seenu Ramasamy, Neer Paravai will have Vishnu, Sunaina and Thambi Ramaiah playing pivotal roles in a charming tale about fisher folk. Isai Cast: SJ Suryah, Savithri Direction: SJ Suryah SJ Suryah’s Isai is generating a lot of hype as it has been written and directed by SJ Suryah who will also be acting in it. He is also doing the score for this film. Savithri will be playing the heroine. Nakul and Chandni will be the hero and heroine. Ethir Neechal Cast: Siva Karthikeyan, Priya Anand, Dhansika Direction: Senthil Ethir Neechal is Dhanush’s first film as a producer and will have Siva Karthikeyan of Marina fame in the lead.
